TOP 5 ANIMATED MOVIES AND MORE…

This is my first article. I’ve chosen wonderful topic to start with...ANIMATED MOVIES! The world of dreams. I am college going but still in love with these. I never missed my favorite cartoon shows on television since my childhood. But it sounded weird to my family and friends. They wonder if I am matured! I think cartoons have nothing to do with maturity and they are not limited for certain age group. So, all those who love cartoons, here I am listing out some of my personal favorites (not in particular order).
1. Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937):
Everyone know the story, thing is, the way they portrayed the characters is superb. Animals are shown SUPER CUTE! And Snow White is simply adorable.
2. Winnie the Pooh (2011):
One day Pooh finds that his friend, Eeyore’s tail goes missing. So he and his friends Christopher Robin, Tigger, Piglet, owl and others decide to find a replacement. But one day they discover that Christopher Robin was kidnapped by a monster named Backson. So the story goes in a quest of getting back their friend and how Pooh finds Eeyore’s tail and win a reward of barrel full of honey.
Even though it’s a new movie, it gives me the feeling of those good old classic cartoons.
3. The Emperor’s New Groove (2000):
This is a comedy movie of Kuzco, an emperor who tries to destroy the house of a peasant named Pacha to build his summer home over there. Meanwhile Izma who craves for his throne turns him into a llama with assistance of strong but stupid Kronk. The story goes on how Pacha tries to help Kuzco turning him back to normal and at last gets back his house.
There’s loads of humor in this movie. Especially the voice over of Izma… love it!
4. Despicable me (2010):
This is a comedy movie of a villain named Gru who believes that he is the greatest of all villains in the world. He comes to know that Victor comes in competition to him by stealing a pyramid! So Gru decides to steal the moon with the help of a shrink ray. He adopts three little girls from orphanage to help him steal the shrink ray. The story goes on how these three girls change him into a good person and also a great father.
Sounds a bit funny stealing the Pyramid of Giza and the moon, but I have to admit that it’s really an entertaining movie.
5. Kung fu Panda (2008):
This is a comedy movie of Po, the cuddly panda who admires a group of kung fu fighters called The Furious Five who are actually trained by Master Shifu. Accidentally or willingly Po will be chosen as The Dragon Warrior by Oogway, the grand master which Shifu and the FF never liked because they thought Po was unworthy of earning that title, and to defeat Tai Lung, the evil tiger. But at last they will find that they are wrong. Part 2 is also a good one.
This guy Po is real fun.
Honorable mentions:
These are some more movies that I found interesting…
Toy story (parts 1, 2&3), Up, Wall-E, Coraline, The Adventure of Tintin, Tangled, How to train your dragon, Finding Nemo, Fantastic Mr. Fox, The Lion King, Ratatouille, The Incredibles, Rango.
